Summary:
BCP-Skin increases procollagen and elastin in skin cells and is indicated for conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, sun damage, and to improve skin wrinkles and support mature-aged skin.
Declining collagen production is a function of age and common issues include changes to digestive function, skin damage from long-term sun exposure, and inflammatory skin conditions.
BCP-Skin can stimulate skin metabolism and counteract the internal loss of the collagenous extracellular matrix which contains 80% collagen by dry weight. Along with its effects on skin density, the collagen peptides as found in BCP-Skin have been shown to also support nail growth and structure.2
Dosage:
Serving suggestion: Add one 10-gram scoop of soluble, virtually tasteless BCP-Skin to a glass of water or add to juice, milk, yoghurt or milk-based kefir as preferred.
Ingredients:
Each 10 gram scoop contains: 100% pure (non-GMO) bovine collagen peptides specifically selected for collagen biosynthesis in skin and other tissues.
Free from: Wheat and other grains, gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, lupin, dairy, (inc. lactose), peanuts, sesame seeds, soybeans, corn, tree nuts, added sugar, other sweeteners or artificial additives.

Information:
A study of 114 women aged 45-65 were randomised to take BCP-Skin for 8 weeks. There was a significantly higher content of procollagen type I (65%) and elastin (18%) in the BCP-Skin group.2
As little as 2.5 grams was effective in this study, whereas 10 grams may be required in other connective tissues.1
