Green lady finger banana is a prebiotic plant material that has been well researched and found to be rich in naturally-occurring resistant starch, a food source for the microbiota which, in turn break down these starches to product SCFAs for the human host, known to be highly beneficial for intestinal health, in part because they are the preferred energy source for the cells lining the large intestine or colon.
PreBio RS is a prebiotic plant material rich in naturally-occurring resistant starch. Resistant starch is a food source for the microbiota which, in turn break down these starches to produce short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) for the human host.
The resistant starches and their resultant SCFAs are known to be highly-beneficial for intestinal health, in part because they are the preferred energy source for the cells lining the large intestine or colon.
